Some of the most striking silk embroidered textiles originated in the Indian Subcontinent, a region that historically hosted bustling bazaars, teeming with people and caravans from the Middle East and beyond. These ancient bazaars were found all along the Silk Road and served as cross-cultural marketplaces for goods procured from Agra all the way to Peking. Hand-embroidered in Resham silk by native artisans, with its bold color palette and curvilinear motifs, our Silk Handmade Art Bedding Quilt is a reproduction of authentic silk textiles from ancient India.
